Update Feature

SurfRecon's auto-update freature can automatically update your copy of the software each time you launch the software. By regularly updating the software, you have access to the most recent features, fixes and digital signatures available.

If you are using the software in evaluation mode, SurfRecon automatically updates whenever the application is launched. If you have activated your copy of SurfRecon, then each time you launched the software you are prompted to update the application.

By choosing "Yes", the application connects to the SurfRecon update servers, downloads the latest updates, and installs them. If you do not want to update your copy of SurfRecon, select "No". Selecting "No" does not cause SurfRecon to exit. It simply does not update itself.

Depending on your local version of the software, the current version of the updates, and your Internet connection speed, the application could take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes or longer to update itself. If time is a concern, we recommended that you only use a high-speed Internet connection when updating your copy of SurfRecon.

Once SurfRecon has been updated or if you have chosen not to update the software, SurfRecon continues the launch process, opening the login menu.
