What Is The Relationship between SurfRecon,
the Surfrecon Database, and The IFID?

The IFID (International Forensic Identification Database) is a database that contains millions of digital signatures and is often referred to as the SurfRecon database. The IFID is supported and maintained by SurfRecon, Inc. SurfRecon accesses the IFID whenever it compares the digital signature of a file it has discovered to determine its categorization.
